  • Jackson Clean Up Round Four
    Several members, pictures below, volunteered to don vests and man pick up sticks during our fourth Jackson Cleanup on Sunday morning.  Kudos to Paul Dango for a great job coordinating and the team of Sam and Dave, two Steves, Dennis, Jim, Terry, and Rich who helped Paul and the Club “clean up.”
  • Happy St. Patrick’s Day
    Our favorite Irishmen and women enjoyed a traditional St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage dinner at our Clubhouse on Tuesday night. Continuing our tradition of very successful fundraising events, everyone danced the night away and enjoyed fabulous food and superb desserts.  A cake and chorus of Happy Birthday were also provided to Pat Palmese, to help celebrate her special day.  Denny Rogers treated us to a terrific rendition of Danny Boy.  Kudos to our Board and Club members and friends particularly Joe Spizzirri, for rolling out a terrific night of festivities. Thanks also to VIP DJ Entertainment.
  • Members Enjoy Terrific Holiday Party
    Our annual holiday party was held last night at the clubhouse. Men’s Club business came first including swearing in the 2026 Board and passing the presidential gavel to Frank Ricucci.  Joe Spizzirri served as party host and invited everyone to enjoy an outstanding buffet and more. Joe also provided Gene Jacono with the past president’s  ceremonial gavel. Special thanks to Joe and his team for a great party.  The leadership team administered the 5050 drawing and announced the following winners: First prize – Bob Boguslawski,  Second prize – Bill O’Donnell, Third prize – Ken Gandero.   • Honor BVL and Congratulate New Board
    At our membership meeting tonight, a donation of $1,500 was provided to the Bowlers to Veterans Link.  Club member and PBA Hall of Fame bowler,  John Petraglia, who champions this cause and serves as a chief spokesperson, accepted a “big check.”  Thanks to everyone who participated in the Tag a Flag program or contributed at the door during the Veteran’s Day Celebration.  Also, congratulations to our newly elected Board. The slate includes Frank Ricucci-President, Robert Curtis-Treasurer, Steve Beckenstein – Secretary, Rich Maczka, Joe Conti, and Dennis Palmese- Vice Presidents, Dave Alvo. John McGregor, and Rich Alessandro – Directors. Gene Jacono will serve as Past- President.  Steve Beckenstein 
  • Honoring our Bravest Members and Friends
    We held our annual Veterans’ Day celebration on Saturday, November 8. Our first without the founder of the Men’s Club and Veterans Committee, John Allen. Our community’s bravest men and women were honored and thanked for their valued and heroic service.  The Club did an outstanding job leading and hosting the event. Kudos to the team who ran the event and prepared presentations, including a tutorial about the US Naval Academy.   • Jackson Cleanup Round Three
    Several members volunteered to help out on our third Jackson Cleanup on Sunday morning. Kudos to Paul Dango and David Alvo for great job coordinating this initiative. And of course the team of members who cleaned up!!!
  • Eighteenth Annual Dinner Dance
    We held our dinner dance last night at South Gate Manor. Kudos to Paul Dango, Gene Jacono, and Dennis Palmese for all their hard work rolling out the festivities.  The event was a “cocktail party” with beer and wine flowing all evening, high quality music, outstanding appetizers and dessert bars. More than a hundred members and significant others attended and enjoyed fun, food, and excellent service.  Past President Joe Spizzirri was honored as the recipient of this year’s Humanitarian of the Year award.   • Big Assist at Women’s Club Household Goods Drive
    A couple of dozen members helped out this morning by loading a huge amount of community donations onto the truck. Donations made went to support the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Thanks to Rich Maczka for coordinating, and everyone who contributed and volunteered to pose for pictures or roll up their sleeves to help out. click on red headline above for pictures
