Don Marotto and his team did a terrific job on the Veterans Committee’s annual Flag Day festivities tonight.
Frank Ricucci, MC President, opened up and welcomed everyone. A group of featured patriotic presentations was made by Don. Steve Beckenstein provided prayers and everyone joined in for the National Anthem and God Bless America. Don also spoke on the Tag a Flag program and other Veterans Committee initiatives.
The program included an honor guard of flag bearing veterans representing each branch of our armed forces for a presentation of the colors.
The community participated in the nation wide pledge of allegiance at 7pm.
And of course, Joe Spizzirri’s team provided refreshments!
